Family Prayer

We come to you as a broken lost family. That at one time never felt alone, but very much loved. We have seen  through your gracious gift that each one of us has felt alone over the years…

Our fears and lost souls convinced us that we were strong. So we bottled it up tucked it down with pride and refused to forgive. God only you can have understanding for why our brother/sister ” ______________”   left us to question what we could have done, but your answer lies ahead in what we can do. So father I ask that any family within reach of this prayer, hear you through me today.

You intended us for relationship and they are hard! As I say these words someone is picturing a face with a source of their pain, lord I would be a fool to not claim that I would be one of those faces.

But Lord you set us apart to be a (large)”____________” family and we need the courage to reach out when we are alone. The push to not procrastinate when that loved one crosses our mind and not wait until tomorrow.

Our lives changed with power players taking a seat at your thrown, but the time is now to longer be in the bondage of the loss but to rejoice in their legacy and ours.

My dad used to say “you don’t need friends you have enough family” It wasn’t until recently I accepted this saying because often it made me feel left out and alone. but your truth.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:13 KJV

Lord, (Cousins) ” ____________” they are our first friends. They know more about our lives than most people on earth.  Laying down our lives doesn’t always mean stepping in front of a bullet. It may mean giving up a late night or saying no to something else. We ask you to guide each of us to know what we should lay down to be present for all mankind.  We ask that you work in us to stand firm as a family and guide us to speak well of each other and break the chains that bind us and help us to forgive.

We are so thankful for each person that has planted the seeds to bring the bread of life into our family through the generations. We know that you are a gracious God a forgiving God and we need your strength to carry us forward.

Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 18:19 KJV

We come and ask Abba father to break our family pattern of pain, walls, and chains.

Everyone who agrees say Amen
