Two little girls, not from the same womb but Bonded by blood of their fathers and the endearing friendship of their mothers.
Thought they were doing nothing more than what little girls do, playing make believe.
With a pen, paper and a grandmother’s typewriter they began a company.
As each took their turn playing secretary the TAP of the keys was so inspiring they both wanted a name for their company and how fitting their initials Were TP and AP so with that TAP INC was envisioned.
Today as I TAP on the keyboard of my laptop I couldn’t name my blog Reflictivegifts.org if i didn’t Reflect on the these moments. The ones where I can take the highlighter out and circle a point in my life that said Tammy, you were made to write. My deepest hope is that my God given gift inspires you to look back with your highlighter and circle these moments in your own life.

The other little girl, my cousin Angela. She recently sent me a text that read. “We were making big plans in that crib!”
Our lives have had so many parallels if you ever seen the movie the Holiday, it reminds me of her and I. Although, in real life we both have went through both stages of being numb and trying to force that tear and crying. I am definitely the crier as just reflecting on our sisterhood i can barely see the page.
Our childhood to me is the closest thing i can compare to what it feels like for a twin. Things got harder when first i moved across country to California then upon my return she moved to the opposite side of the country to Florida.
We have seen each other through life’s ups and downs. She inspires me to be a better person. To still share this passion with her and know that she will be working on travel blog soon.. I am assured that when you share a dream with someone and confess it with your mouth you will hold onto that dream for a lifetime and age is just a number.
Looking back on our little company and the things that her and I agree that got in our way of our dream.
The top of the list, Guilt!
Satan will use whatever he can to inch his way into your mind to make you feel that it’s your responsibility to take care of everyone but yourself. He will tell you lies that something was your fault. He will make you feel inadequate for the one thing God actually gave you the natural born gift to do! The hardest part he will use other people who you love and trust to pound all of these home.
So having each other, supportive husbands, and the truth of God we both are finding our way back to that innocents of 2 little girls playing make believe and making our Dreams come true.
